ASTM F959
ASTM F959 covers the requirements for DTI Washers(Direct Tension Indicator) in diameters ranging from 1/2" to 1 1/2". These washers are meant to be used with structural bolts to ensure the proper amount of tension has been achieved. They have multiple protrusions on the flat surface that compress when the right amount of tension is applied.
